WAEC releases 2018 private BECE results

Finally West African Examinations Council – WAEC released 2018 provisional results of private candidates who wrote the 2018 edition of the BECE (Basic Education Certificate Examination).

Before you can check BECE result, you need to buy BECE Result scratch card which you can buy scratch card with your MasterCard, Visa Card or Airtel money.

  1. Go to BECE Result Checker Online Portal (http://ghana.waecdirect.org)
  2. Enter your BECE index number
  3. Select the BECE examination months (e.g BECE May/June)
  4. At this section, select your examination year (e.g, 2012)
  5. Type in the Scratch Card Serial Number from the side of your scratch card.
  6. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card eg, 012345678912.
  7. Now confirm the Index Number and examination year. This is to be sure that your Examination details are correct.
  8. Click on SUBMIT and wait while the page is loading.
  9. Print out your BECE result.
